for Gulf Country and Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders forecast districts

Weather Situation
Severe fire dangers are forecast for the Gulf Country and Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders districts today.
A surface trough over central Qld will move east into eastern Qld, during this afternoon. Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds ahead of the trough, will shift fresh to strong and gusty south to southwesterly behind the trough over much of inland Qld, particularly the Gulf Country and the Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders during this afternoon.
