Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Nsw)

Additional flood waters from Queensland has caused renewed river level rises along the Warrego River in New South Wales.
The main flood peak is now approaching Fords Bridge.
Minor flooding is continuing at Enngonia.

Warrego River (NSW):
Minor flooding is current at Enngonia. Moderate flooding is occurring at Fords Bridge.

The Warrego River at Enngonia peaked near 2.37 metres on Tuesday 24 March and is falling slowly with minor flooding.

The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is likely to peak near 2.75 metres over the weekend with moderate flooding.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
