for the Lower South East forecast district.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold conditions, rain, showers and fresh
northwest to southwesterly winds are expected to develop during Monday evening
then continue during Tuesday morning. There is a risk of losses of lambs and
sheep exposed to these conditions.

For people in Northern Rivers Forecast District.

Issued at 8:56 pm Sunday, 16 June 2019.

Severe storms have eased

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in NSW and the ACT.

The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.

23mm were recorded in the 10 min to 7:50pm, and an 85km/h wind gust at 7:48pm, at Lismore Airport.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.

Flood Warning for the Inland Rivers SA

The water level at the Poothapoota gauge on the Warburton River is falling.

The amount of water along the Warburton River is less than the previous event.
Flood impacts such as inundation of flood plains are reducing.

Increased flow into Kati Thanda - Lake Eyre is expected to ease over the coming
weeks. Water is expected to remain in parts of the lake through winter and into
spring.

Warburton:
The water level at Poothapoota Waterhole peaked at 5.55 metres on Sunday 26
May. On Friday morning the water level was at 4.84 metres and falling.

Cooper Creek:
On Friday morning the water level at Cullyamurra Waterhole was at 2.34 metres
and falling. The Cooper Creek is not expected to provide inflow to Kati Thanda
- Lake Eyre.

Flood Safety Advice:
People are advised to keep away from flowing water.

Minor flooding is expected to continue in the lower reaches of the Kiewa River
during Sunday.

Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge:
Minor flooding is expected to continue along the Kiewa River downstream of
Mongans Bridge.

The Kiewa River at Bandiana peaked at 2.82 metres during early Sunday morning.
The river is currently at 2.78 metres and falling slowly. The Kiewa River at
Bandiana is expected to remain around the minor flood level (2.80 m) during
Sunday.

Flood Safety Advice:
SES advises that all community members should:
Never walk, ride or drive through floodwater
Never allow children to play in floodwater
Stay away from waterways and stormwater drains during and after heavy rain
Keep well clear of fallen power lines
Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may
contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks, and heavy rainfall increases
the potential for landslides and debris across roads.

Flooding is no longer expected in the South Esk River catchment.

The river peaked at Fingal on Thursday evening below the minor flood level and
is easing slowly. No flooding is expected along the middle and lower reaches.

In the 24 hours to 9 am Thursday rainfall totals up to 10 mm were observed in
the South Esk river catchment. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next
few days.

Strong and dangerous flows may be a hazard over the next couple of days.

South Esk River above Fingal:
No further flooding is expected in the upper South Esk River above Fingal.
River levels are easing slowly.

St Pauls River:
No flooding is expected on the St Pauls River.

South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn:
No flooding is expected in the South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn.

The South Esk River at Fingal is currently at 2.70 metres and falling. River
levels will remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Friday.

The South Esk River at Llewellyn will remain below the minor flood level (4.00
m) during Friday.
