Minor Flood Warning For The Moonie River

Minor flooding is likely at Thallon Bridge on the Moonie River during Tuesday.
No significant rainfall has been recorded in the catchment over the last few days. No further significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days.

Moonie River downstream of Flinton:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Moonie River downstream of Flinton.
The Moonie River at Nindigully Bridge is currently at 2.25 metres and falling.
The Moonie River at Nindigully Bridge is likely to remain around the minor flood level (2.20 m) during Tuesday.

No recent observations are available at Thallon Bridge but the river level is likely to be around the minor flood level (4.00 metres)
River levels are expected to ease slowly over the next few days.
