Cloud scattered over the Top End in moist, unstable air is generating showers and moderate thunderstorms, mainly in the west. Patchy cloud over the interior in a heat trough is only causing the odd thundery shower in the west. Clearer skies to the south due to dry air.

Cloud building over eastern QLD in onshore winds and near a lingering trough is generating showers and storms, mainly inland. Cloud in the far north in moist, unstable air is causing thundery showers. Clearer skies to the southwest due to a dry airmass.

Onshore winds are bringing low clouds to the SA's coast, with the odd drizzly light shower in the southeast. Mostly clear elsewhere due to a high pressure ridge.

Thick cloud moving across much of the state with a low and troughs is bring areas of rain, mainly across the north and west. Skies are clearest in the far east as the air dries out over the ranges.

Areas of cloud over inland WA in a lingering trough is causing showers and storms in the central, west and northern inland. Onshore winds associated with a high pressure system over the Bight are generating low clouds across the southern coastal areas.
