Cloud forming across southern QLD along a trough is generating thunderstorms about the ranges, some intense. Cloud in the north in a trough is causing a few showers and storms, mainly inland. Skies are mostly cloudfree elsewhere under high pressure.

Cloud in the southeast and far southern coasts of SA is due to a weak front and is only causing the odd shower in the far southeast. Cloud in the far north in a trough is only bringing the odd spot of rain. Skies are generally cloud-free elsewhere in dry winds.

Cloud forming over TAS is due to a weak front and is bringing showers to the west and a few light showers to southern and central parts and Bass Strait. Cloud reaching the east is generally high cloud and is bringing virtually no rain.

Cloud forming over VIC is due to a weak front and is only bringing light showers to some western-facing parts of the coasts. Skies are mostly clear on the northern plains where winds are drier, leading to cool days and nights.

Areas of cloud across northern and eastern inland WA in a trough is generating a few showers and storms, mainly over inland Kimberley. Skies are mostly cloud-free elsewhere in dry winds which are hot and gusty in the west, raising fire danger.
