Cloud scattering over southern and central inland QLD in an active trough is generating showers and storms, some intense. Thick cloud forming in the far north as Tropical Cyclone Trevor approaches is bringing areas of heavy rain to the east. Mostly clear in the west of state.

Cloud over far western SA is forming in a weak trough but is only bringing the odd light shower to the western border area. Wisps of high jetstream cloud crossing the south of the state is not bringing any rain due to the air being too dry. Skies are mostly clear in the north.

Cloud in eastern TAS us due to moist easterly winds and is bringing a few showers. Cloud in the west is much more patchy and is bringing virtually no rain due to winds being drier.

Thick cloud over eastern VIC due to a nearby low is causing showers and thunderstorms, some heavy. Only the odd patchy of showery cloud is reaching central parts of the state. Skies are mostly clear over the northern plains and the west where winds are drier and more stable.

Cloud scattering over much of inland WA in a broad trough is causing showers and storms, mainly over the interior. Cloud over norther parts in a lingering trough is bringing showers and storms to the Pilbara and Kimberley, mainly to inland parts.
